Janet Fleek

Graveside services for Janet Fleek of Lovell were held Monday Nov. 27, 2006 at the Lovell Cemetery. Janet, 86, died Nov. 24 at the New Horizon Care Center in Lovell.
She was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Battlecreek, Mich., the daughter of Oscar and Vera Whittaker Kraft. She attended school and graduated from high school in Battlecreek.
She married Delbert Fleek, Feb. 15, 1944.
Mr. Fleek retired from the military and joined the Corps of Engineers. They lived at various locations until settling in Lovell when Mr. Fleek worked on the construction of Yellowtail Dam.
Janet was a cook at the North Big Horn Hospital and for Head Start. She loved collecting dolls.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984.
Janet is survived by two sons, Ike Fleek and Nick Fleek, both of Greybull; one sister, Viola Wonders in Michigan; four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the North Big Horn Senior Center in Lovell.
